Clinical, Academic, and Research Experience:

    Dr. Moffitt is the Associate Director of the Dunedin Multidiscplinary Health and Development Research Unit in the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine at the University of Otago Medical School, Dunedin, New Zealand. She also holds professorships at the University of London and the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Dr. Moffitt's research was recognized by the American Psychological Association in 1993 when she was awarded the Distinguished Scientific Award for Early Career Contribution to Psychology, and she was recently elected a Fellow of the British Academy of Medical Sciences. She has served as an editorial board member on over ten prestigious journals, including the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, Journal of Research on Crime and Delinquency, Journal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry, and Journal of Abnormal Psychology. Dr. Moffitt has participated in numerous symposia, conferences, and institutes, and is acknowledged to be a leader in the field of delinquency and violence.
